Inspiring people from all over the world with her performances, Qi Zhang found a new calling to share her passion for classical Chinese dance , Modern Dance and Ballet with the creation of Chinese Dance Academy of California. As the school's primary educator and artistic director, her goal is to celebrate and sustain the traditions of Chinese dance by providing a venue for young, enthusiastic students and aspiring professionals to learn its art, discipline, and culture.

We understand that nurturing and developing the passion for dancing is optimal at a young age. At Chinese Dance Academy of California., we believe that traits like self-confidence, discipline,motivation and commitment would go a long way not just in the field of dancing, but throughout the student’s lives in general.  We offer an excellent curriculum of Chinese dancing which involves unique movements, rhythms and deeper meaning. We teach with a sense of joy, freedom and passion - a way that embodies the dancing of Qi Zhang.  

Qi Zhang Founded Qi Zhang Dance Studiol In 2003 in Thousand Oaks, and then opened her second  and third school in Orange County and San Diego in 2006 and 2012.   With hundrends of students and internationally renowned practice she was able to work with students ranging from kindergarten to graduate students. In 2015 Qi Zhang created the Chinese Dance Academy of California achieving her dream of inspiring people around the world to apprecite Chinese Culture and Dance as an expression of Art.......
